The Bus Bar acts as the main connection for devices such as Loads and Generators.  Branches also have to connect to Bus Bars in order to form a Network.

The following properties of the Bus Bar can be changed or viewed:

1.Voltage Level,

2.Name, Number and Description, Substation, GPS co-ordinates,

3.Size, Width and Height,

4.Display Options.

To Place a Bus Bar

With the mouse click on the Bus Bar Button on the Toolbar or use the Bus Bar command from the Network main menu. A Bus Bar data dialog box will appear.  Enter all the relevant information and Click on a position in the Working Area to place the Bus Bar.

After you are done, Right Click on the Working Area to Reset the Command or Continue by placing more Bus Bars.

The Width & the Height of a Bus Bar can be changed dynamically by selecting the Bottom-Right Side Corner and Dragging the Mouse to the desired position.

If a busbar has GPS co-ordinates entered, clicking the ellipsis button to the right of the text box will open the default web browser in Google Maps displaying the marked location of the busbar.
