The following properties of the Series Capacitor can be changed or viewed:

1.Name, Number and Description,

2.Capacitor Reactance in Ohms,

3.Number of Banks Available and the Number of Banks in Service

4.Current Rating Normal and Overload (A),

5.Display Options.

 

To Place a Series Capacitor:

 

With the mouse click on the Series Capacitor Button on the Toolbar or use the Series Capacitor command from the Network main menu. A Series Capacitor data dialog box will appear.  Enter all the relevant information and Click on a Branch in the project where the Series Capacitor is to be Connected. The Series Capacitor is placed in the middle of the branch section.
