The first time you start PowaMaster it will be started as a demonstration version with limited functions and capabilities. To unlock PowaMaster into a full version, you will have to enter registration information. (Please read the End User License Agreement (EULA) carefully before continuing.)
There are four supported registrations modes:
1.Dongle License (Deprecated)
Users will need to run the below Registration Procedure step 1 to 4.
Note:
1.Please ensure that the correct licensing option is selected before registration.
2.For either of the Server Licensing options to operate correctly, a License Server must be set up on the Network.
The Dongle must be inserted into the computer’s USB port after installation, but prior to registration.
It is not necessary to obtain a new dongle license if the user upgrades his older version of PowaMaster, provided that the subscription fee has been paid, a new unlock code will provide access to the new version.
The license is stored on the dongle and can be used with PowaMaster on any workstation, as long as the version on the workstation is the same as the licensed version.
Only one user will need to perform the registration procedure for the dongle.
This type of license is issues only under exceptional circumstances, normally for demonstration or testing purposes.
The license is stored on the relevant workstation and is available for that workstation only for a very limited period.
Each user will need to perform the registration procedure for their computer.
This license is stored on a server on a LAN or Internet and is linked to a particular user.
The user will be required to log in to PowaMaster with a user name and password and may use PowaMaster on any workstation on the network that has the software installed on it and is able to connect to the server.
Each user will need to perform the registration procedure for their own user name.
This license type is stored on a server on a LAN or Internet. It is not linked to any particular user, but company, and is issued to PowaMaster workstations on a first come, first served basis.
Only one admin user will need to perform the registration procedure.
Note: User names are still required to authorize valid license usage.
1.Run PowaMaster
2.Choose Help and then Registration from the Main Menu.
3.A Registration dialog box will appear.
4.Make sure the correct licensing option is selected.
5.Highlight and copy the displayed serial number as text.
6.Paste it into an email message, together with the dongle number (E.g. ii123456)
7.E-mail this information to Inspired Azure ([email protected]) in order to generate the required Unlock Code.
Remember to run steps 1 to 4 and click OK on each of the other networked computers in the case of Server Bulk licensing.
Once you receive the unlock code, proceed as follows:
1.Choose Help and then Registration from the Main Menu.
2.A Registration dialog box will appear.
3.Make sure the correct licensing option is selected.
4.Click on the Unlock button on the toolbar of the Registration dialog box.
5.Paste the unlock code in the appropriate space provided and click OK.
PowaMaster will now run with full functionality according to the subscription.
