A Load can be modelled by specifying the Active Power and Reactive Power OR the Apparent Power and Power Factor.  The load type can also be specified by specifying the amount of Constant Power, Current or Impedance of the Load.

The Load Fault Contribution can have a Positive, Negative and a Zero sequence impedance defined for Steady State, Transient or Sub-Transient analysis. The Generator will assume the Voltage Level of the Bus it is connected to.

The following properties of the Load can be changed or viewed:

1.Name, Number and Description,

2.Percentage Constant Power, Constant Current and Constant Impedance of what the Load consists of,

3.The Active Power and Reactive Power OR the Apparent Power and Power Factor,

4.Load units - kVA or MVA,

5.Co-Incidence Factor And Scale Factor,

6.Display Options.

7.Steady State Positive, Negative and Zero Sequence Impedances for Fault Contribution,

8.Transient Positive, Negative and Zero Sequence Impedances for Fault Contribution,

9.Sub-Transient Positive, Negative and Zero Sequence Impedances for Fault Contribution,

To Place a Load

There has to be a Bus Bar in the project before a Load can be placed, since a Load is placed or Connected to a Bus Bar.

With the mouse click on in the Load Button on the Toolbar or use the Load command from the Network main menu. A Load data dialog box will appear.  Enter all the relevant information and Click on the Bus Bar to place the Load.  Multiple Loads can be placed on the same Bus Bar.

After you are done, Right Click on the Working Area to Reset the Command.
