Motor Starting

The following properties of the Induction Motor can be changed or viewed:

1.Name, Number and Description,

2.Use Calculated Slip,

3.Induction Motor Category - Used to specify the motor specifications and start-up characteristics defined in the Data Library,

4.Fault Contribution,

5.Display Options.

To Place an Induction Motor

With the mouse click on the Induction Motor Button on the Toolbar or use the Induction Motor command from the Network main menu. An Induction Motor data dialog box will appear. Enter all the relevant information and Click on a Bus Bar in the project from where the Induction Motor is to be Connected.
