Motor Starting

The following properties of the Simple Motor can be changed or viewed:

1.Name, Number and Description,

2.Load (Power/p.f. or Real and Reactive Power),

3.Motor Category - Used to specify the motor start-up characteristics defined in the Data Dictionary,

4.Load Category,

5.Co-incidence Factor,

6.Scale Factor,

7.Fault Contribution,

8.Display Options.

To Place a Motor

With the mouse click on the Motor Button on the Toolbar or use the Motor command from the Network main menu. A Motor data dialog box will appear.  Enter all the relevant information and Click on a Bus Bar in the project from where the Motor is to be Connected.
