To perform motor Start-Up calculations click the Motor Starting Button or use the Calculate\Motor Starting on the main menu.

All simple and induction motors that are in the model are displayed in a list. Check the motors that must be started and specify the time (seconds) at which each is to be started. Check the Lock Transformer Taps to prevent any transformer that doesn't have a locked tap from tapping as the voltage drops from the motor starting. Clicking the OK button performs the motor starting calculation.

 

To view the results of busbars, branches or motors as a result of the motor start-up, right-click on the corresponding element and select results. View the Motor Profile Tabsheet. Check the relevant result parameter to be displayed.

Note: The result dialog can be left open when the procedure above for calculating a motor start-up is performed.
