This feature allows the user the get the overall picture of the network.

 

By clicking on a specific point on the Overview Window with the left mouse button, the main diagram will be moved to display the  area clicked on the overview window.

 

A windowed box in the overview window will indicate the current view on the screen. In other words, what is displayed in the windowed box is also displayed on the main screen.

 

The Overview Window has a Voltage filter option whereby the user can filter on selected voltages. Typing a voltage into the text box, removes all other voltages from view in the Overview Window, making it easier for the user to find what he is looking for.

 


Toolbar


 

PowaMaster has the following Toolbars:

Standard Toolbar

Creation Toolbar

Tools Toolbar

Zoom Toolbar

 

Each of toolbar has the following configuration accessible from the View->Toolbar Menu:

 

 

Item

Description

Show Description

Displays the Button's Description underneath the Button Image.

Visible

Allows the Toolbar to be Visible on the Screen.

Top

Either Top or the Toolbar will be Positioned on the Left of the Screen.

Button Mode

The buttons will be displayed as either buttons or flat.

 

When the user Exists the Application, the last state will be saved.

 

On Application start-up, the last known configuration will be loaded.

 


Zoom


 

The following Zoom functions are available:

Zoom Function

Description

Zoom 1:1

The Active View will be scaled back to a 1 : 1 mapping of the items' coordinates.

Zoom Fit

The Active View will be scaled for all items to fit within the view.

Zoom Factor

The Active View will be scaled using a user specified Scale Factor.

Zoom Window

The Active View will be scaled using a user specified Window.

Zoom Point

The Active View will be scaled using the distance from the fixed point specified to another point on the window. The Vertical Direction will dictate if the the area will be magnified(UP) or reduced(DOWN).

Zoom Previous

Restores the Previous Zoom level for the Active View.
